tons-o-toppings
$$$

Emma’s gets high marks for offerring something that chain pizerria’s prefer not to advertise: half and half specialty pizzas.  My half was #17.  The menu urges you to order by number presumably for speed sake but also allows a build-your-own approach.  I don’t think I would have built the chicken, scallion, feta, sun-dried tomato #17 given the huge selection of toppings, but it was tasty.  The crust was cracker thin and crispy at the edges.

I can’t offer much about the ambiance because the tiny restaurant was packed and we managed to dodge the 30 minute wait by sitting at the counter looking onto the street.  Once we ordered, the pizza arrived surprisingly quick despite the crowd.  The occasional chill from the opening door was the only downside, but that was due to the seating arrangement.  Barring another 30 minute wait, I hope to sit at a table next time.
